First, turn the heating in your car on using the dial on your dashboard.
Next, turn it up to the maximum setting.
Third, press the defrost button on your dashboard so that the light switches on.
Finally, turn your windscreen wipers on to clear away the melting frost.
Not everyone was convinced by the driving instructor’s quick defrost trick.
Alec said: “Defrost in 3 minutes? I don’t think so.”
Tavyn said: “Yeah it’s easy – until it’s covered in a sheet of ice and the wipers are frozen to the glass.”
Danilo said: “Park in your garage. Then you don’t have to waste time defrosting.
“If you don’t have a garage, get one.”
