Revealing a mould-ravaged shower tray, the builder dips a toothbrush into bleach before applying the first coating to the affected area.
Bleach is affordable in most UK supermarkets, with Tesco stocking the product for only 60p for 750ml.
The next step involves tearing off and rolling up a long strip of toilet roll and lining it along the area already coated with bleach.
The builder then instructs carefully pouring the disinfectant along the back of the toilet roll.

This is especially vital for homeowners jetting off for a weekend or longer.
He said: “This is really a useful thing to do if you go away on holiday.
“Even if you’re just going away for a weekend, just before you leave and you’ve had your last shower.
The savvy hack means that the bleach will have “constant contact with the mould”, preventing any future threat of unwanted fungus.
Bleach may cause damage to certain materials, so be sure to check the manufacturer’s instructions and use an alternative mould inhibitor if so.
Fellow TikTokers were so impressed they flocked to comment on the popular video.
One said: “I did this. It really works.”
Another agreed: “Good trick. Thanks.”
It comes after a mould expert revealed his £2 trick to reduce the risk of mould and keep bathroom tiles white.
