WE all want to save a little bit of money here and there.
Some may do this by attempting to do their own dry cleaning at home rather than get an expert to do it.

And in order to do this – they might be tempted by viral cleaning hacks which claim to ‘really’ work.
But this could sometimes end in a disaster for clothing or furniture and it may have them wishing they got a professional to do it instead.
Dry cleaning pro Jeeves, who goes by the name of Clean Freakz on TikTok, has noticed a common mistake people are making when it comes to cleaning their sofas.
Sharing a video to his 539k TikTok followers, he says: “Dry cleaner here, let’s talk about this viral furniture cleaning ‘hack’.

“Basically, people take laundry detergent, dilute it in hot water, rub it all over the furniture and call it a day. No good.
“Think of it this way. If you do the same process to your clothing, would you really want to wear it after?
“Probably not, it’s covered in detergent. If you do this, you have to extract it out after, simple as that.”
He captioned the video: “Do not rub detergent on your furniture.”
The video sparked conversation with many rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “Wow glad I saw this before trying it.”
Another asked: “How do you clean couches then?”
To which he replied: “Use an extraction machine. A relatively inexpensive and wonderful investment.”
