MANILA, PHILIPPINES — TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile videos, brings more joy to its Filipino community this season with on-ground charity activities and key livestreams through its #CreatorsGiveBack campaign, a corporate social responsibility initiative that unites top TikTok creators, sellers, users and corporate partners together for a meaningful cause.
TikTok kicked off the holiday campaign with a visit to the National Children’s Hospital, where food creators Kath and Gene (kathandgene), Jujumao, and Abigail Marquez distributed specially curated food packs while educational creators Teacher Beia Manahan, Lyqa Maravilla, and Arshie Larga restocked the institution’s library with new books from Rex Education. Food packs from partners Jollibee and Robinsons Hotels and Resorts – Summit Cafe were also distributed.
To further promote a culture of giving and social good and to help its customers embrace the Christmas spirit and spread joy to those in need, TikTok featured charity livestream sessions led by TikTok creators who entertained their followers and encouraged viewer donations, including jinjinpau, danlaudit, rhapsalazar, ynamagendaa, officialjaymodelo, itsme.danajorge, biancadenise, maniegogogo, spencer_serafica, and eyshombre.
TikTok Shop creators Jonah Sison Ramos of Dear Face and Skin Potions, Iwa Moto, and Anna Magkawas of Luxe Beauty and Wellness Group also hosted a special TikTok Live selling session of their products. All generated sales and collected gifts were matched with toiletries, groceries, and many other hospital equipment by TikTok, and these will be turned over to the National Children’s Hospital on December 20.
In addition, TikTok partnered with Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, McDonald’s Philippines (Choice Gourmet Banquet), and JAC Liner to create memorable experiences for the children of the National Children’s Hospital through a special outing to SuperPark in Eastwood Mall with creators Lauren Alexi and Majah.
TikTok Shop also donated PHP1.8 million to Generation Hope, a Philippine non-government organization that is committed to improving public school infrastructure, increasing livelihood opportunities, and enabling efforts that conserve our environment. The donation funded two classrooms at the Casini Elementary School in Sorsogon.
