The bargain item costs less than £5 and had social media users scrambling to the online market.

A TikTok posted by “Venti Charge” outlined how the handy buy works.

Footage shows him attaching a small fan to the bottom of his phone by plugging it in.

And he says the “portable mini fan” only needs to be attached in this simple manner before the “magic happens”.

With temperatures forecast to hit 28C this weekend, Brits have been doing everything they can to keep cool.

A yellow alert is covering the East Midlands, West Midlands, South East, South West, East of England, London, Yorkshire and The Humber, the UK Health Security Agency and Met Office said.

With the mercury soaring, many will be keen to try the mini portable fan hack.

However one sceptical user remarked that “it drains your battery”.
