‘The best time to get pregnant is the end of February,’ said TikToker Lilly Scott. ‘I know I’m right, and here’s why.’
We have to say when you hear the mum-of-two’s logic, we think you’ll agree.
In her TikTok video, which wracked up a mega 5.6 million views, Lilly said: ‘It’s Valentines Day, you don’t have to worry about anything. You guys go all in, have the best time of your lives.
‘Obviously we can’t pick if you ovulate so anytime Valentines Day or after, that’s when you’re doing said deed.’
I mean we didn’t need a reason to take it off and get it on in the month of love but an extra incentive never hurt anyone.
Lilly then admits that March April and May are the throwaway months where you feel a little sick.
‘But then it’s June, you’re in your second trimester baby and you’re feeling better, just in time for summer,’ she said.
‘There’s no pressure to look good because you have a bump at this point, so you’re at the beach and they’re just like “oh my god are you pregnant?”‘
By autumn you are heavily pregnant ‘but it’s fine because you’re getting cosy’ she claimed.
Lilly added: ‘You don’t feel super confident in your skin because now you’re going from cutely pregnant to feeling really massive – that’s okay. Here’s a sweater, put on a scarf, another scarf, nobody cares.’
Your due date will then mean you have a scorpio baby and then your maternity leave takes you up to Christmas, and Lilly points out that people won’t be able to do enough for you over the holidays.
The TikToker then said you can give yourself a ‘solid six months’ of breastfeeding which again takes you to summer.
This means that you can have your body back and begin to get your confidence back to enjoy the summer months and sunshine.
We obviously don’t all have the luxury of being able to conceive naturally but, for the women who can, we think it’s a pretty genius timeline to be honest.
It’s safe to say mums and expectant mums in the comments had a lot to say about Lilly’s timeline. Some totally agreed but some vowed they would never be pregnant in summer again.
One TikToker disagreed, writing: ‘Lies. Get pregnant in July! I did 2 summers pregnant and never again.’
Another commenter agreed with Lilly but pointed out a downside: ‘I have a November baby! 100% yes BUT I didn’t like being postpartum in the winter. No sun, days short and miserable lol.’
The majority of mums were in full agreement though commenting ‘can confirm this is true’ and ‘yupppp Scorpio babies are the bestttt!!’
