Carl Eiswerth, a TikTok personality and wrestling enthusiast who gained a following for bringing humor to his everyday life, died on Tuesday. He was 35.
According to his family, Eiswerth sustained blunt force trauma injuries while in the passenger seat of his friend’s car when they were struck by another vehicle at an intersection in Monroe Township, Pa.
Snyder County Deputy Coroner Lance Kramer confirmed the death to WKOK. State police did not reveal further details about the crash.
Hailing from Lykens — a small borough in northeastern Pennsylvania — Eiswerth had over 435,000 TikTok followers at the time of his death. He was described as having a “genuine love” for the sport of wrestling, which he helped promote through his social media activities.
5 Star Wrestling, a local wrestling community, shared an emotional post about Eiswerth’s death on Facebook Wednesday.
“The pro wrestling community has suffer[ed] a lost,” they wrote. “We lost one of the most loyal fans throughout northeast Pennsylvania. … Carl was not only a fan, he was one of us.”
According to TMZ, Eiswerth’s mother is currently determining how to manage his popular social media channels.
