The deity said followers of his New Jerusalem Church do not offer a lot, and on a good Sabbath, he collects between KSh 500 and KSh 700 only.
During an interview on NTV’s Gumzo La Sato, Yesu provided clarity about his financial situation by recounting an incident when the police visited his house during an investigation.
He humorously revealed that they discovered only KSh 250 at his residence. Additionally, the clergyman amusingly emphasised that his wealth rests in his long hair and beard.
“I am not wealthy. My church’s offering ranges between KSh 500 and KSh 700. When I was arrested, they searched my house and only found KSh 250 that had been collected that day. They also found six tomatoes and four onions.”
